Renault KWID range reimagined

The SUV-inspired Renault KWID first made its debut on South African roads in November 2016 and is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026. This iconic mobility solution has sold over 70,000 units in South Africa, firmly establishing itself as a popular choice within the entry-level segment.
Bigger on value. Lighter on price.
As of 1st October 2025, the Renault KWID model range has been repositioned, with new retail pricing ranging from R178 799, making it the most affordable vehicle in the SA market currently.
In alignment with Renault’s new nomenclature, the KWID range will also introduce a new naming convention on two of the variants. The entry trim level, previously known as Life will be called Evolution, and the middle spec, formally Zen, will be named Techno. The top spec Climber name will be retained.
New feature updates will be introduced on the Evolution and Climber variants from the end of November 2025. These include an 8-inch touchscreen from the Evolution model, as well as six airbags in the Climber model, packing greater value into the model offering.

The Renault KWID continues to deliver a unique blend of style, practicality, and efficiency.

SUV-inspired styling and road presence

The elevated ground clearance gives the KWID a rugged SUV-inspired stance,

while distinctive design elements such as roof rails, bold body cladding, pronounced wheel arches, robust bumpers, and sleek LED daytime running lights add a touch of modern sophistication and premium appeal.

The generous boot space of 279L is segment leading. Cabin space is roomy with comfortable rear legroom, useful storage solutions, and thoughtful interior design.

Feature-rich for its price

Other value-adding features on the KWID include Reverse Camera and electric windows on the Techno and Climber variants, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB, and Aux across the range. Safety and driver aids include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminders, central locking, and reverse parking sensors. The KWID also offers numerous comfort features such as power steering, aircon and good visibility due to the raised ride height

Impressive fuel efficiency

The 1.0 litre Smart Control Efficiency engine is purpose-built for efficiency and everyday practicality. Perfectly suited to urban driving while keeping fuel consumption impressively low, the KWID delivers from 4.9L/100 km in the manual and from 4.4L/ 100 km in the AMT derivative.

With its distinctive styling, urban agility, and value-packed features, the KWID remains a true testament to enduring appeal and smart mobility.
