Nando’s officially unveiled its latest collaboration with Springbok captain and national treasure Siya Kolisi on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the grand opening of its new bespoke restaurant in Stellenbosch. The result? The limited-edition Siya Sauce, available exclusively in Nando’s restaurants nationwide starting 3 November 2026.

Before you prepare your tastebuds for a full-contact flavour experience, there’s one thing South Africans should know: turns out Siya is a pretty mild guy.

What Does Nando’s Siya Sauce Taste Like?

Developed alongside Siya and filled with his favourite ingredients, the sauce is:

• Rich in garlic
• Brightened with citrus notes
• Finished with a gentle smoky warmth

While it carries the name of one of the toughest rugby players to ever pull on a green-and-gold jersey, the heat level is intentionally accessible, created specifically for South Africans of all tastes and heat tolerances to enjoy.

Adding bold visual flair to the project is Pretoria-based illustrator Mpho Boshoga. Known for his expressive, street-culture-inspired style, Boshoga brought the Siya Sauce bottle to life with a fresh, contemporary portrait of one of South Africa’s most iconic faces. Boshoga’s inclusion aligns with Nando’s decades-long commitment to championing South African creative talent and turning everyday spaces into platforms for local artists.

Free in All Nando’s Restaurants Nationwide

According to Jessica Wheeler, Chief Brand and Customer Officer at Nando’s, the sauce is designed to bring people together for the holiday season.
