Diesel has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 advertising campaign, titled Multiplicities, transforming traditional global fashion imagery into a collaborative world tour.
Conceived by creative director Glenn Martens and art director Christopher Simmonds, the campaign redefines global perspectives by shipping life-sized cardboard cutouts of models to diverse locations across the globe.
From the Studio to the World
The campaign began with photographer Verity Smiley-Jones capturing models wearing key looks from the FW26 collection against a signature studio red backdrop. These studio shots were then transformed into life-sized cardboard cutouts and sent across borders from London to New Delhi, with stops in Shanghai, Cairo, and Rio de Janeiro – where they were embedded directly into real-life environments.

Rather than utilizing a uniform production team, local photographers in each city reframed the cutouts through their own lenses. Passersby, local architecture, and everyday street activity naturally integrated into the frames, turning static campaign imagery into an evolving narrative of shared culture and community.

Global Stops and Campaign Highlights
1. London, United Kingdom
Photographer Erika Kamano set the cardboard figures amidst the hustle, crowds, and pigeons of Piccadilly Circus. The stop highlighted new-season accessories, including the D-ONE bag and the D-COCCO stiletto sandal.
2. Shanghai, China
Photographer Fish Zhang captured 3-D Denim and Bicolor Leather against scaffolded urban streetscapes, alongside the new regular-fit D-Heel jean.
3. Cairo, Egypt
Set on a rooftop in Cairo with the ancient pyramids in the background, photographer Malak El Sawi shot looks featuring Wrinkled Boiled Knitwear and Creased Denim.
4. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Photographer Rergio Richard brought the campaign to Ipanema Beach, framing Wrapped Up in Concert Print Ts, plaid pieces, and the spike-detailed Stinger Watch against beachgoers and the iconic Dois Irmãos mountains.
5. New Delhi, India
The global tour concluded in New Delhi, where Megha Singha photographed trompe l’oeil cable knit denim and Cut Out Floral Knits aboard a rickshaw navigating the capital’s busy streets.
The D-ONE Bag Takes Center Stage
Serving as the visual thread connecting each destination is the D-ONE bag, introduced on the FW26 runway. Featuring a slouchy leather silhouette with buckled straps inspired by worn belts sliding through denim loops, the accessory was designed as a versatile companion for global travel.
By handing creative framing over to local photographers and real-world environments, Diesel’s FW26 campaign reinforces the brand’s core ethos of self-expression, diversity, and global connection.
